  • My research on data-driven market has affected the EU’s Digital Markets Act (DMA) and Digital Services Act (DSA), especially DMA Art. 6(10,11) (forcing gatekeepers to share user-generated data with competitors) and the idea of necessary ex ante regulation because of data-driven indirect network effects (confirmed in writing by EU Commission)
  • My co-authored paper “Competing with Big Data” is cited in the 2023 Economic Report of the President, delivered by President Biden to the U.S. Congress. It is also cited by the “Report on AI” by the Dutch Scientific Council for Governmental Policy (WRR), 2023.
